About Awesome Possum Landscaping
Our Mission
Awesome Possum Landscaping (APL) is a social enterprise operated by NOC Society in Seattle, Washington. APL offers high quality landscaping services and provides training and employment opportunities for young adults with disabilities to help provide the services. In addition, all profits support NOC Society’s social programs for individuals with disabilities. When you hire APL you’re not only receiving top quality work, you’re helping support an inclusive community!
Purpose
Awesome Possum Landscaping creates a win win scenario for the community and the individuals we hire. Through APL we combat the unemployment rate for adults with disabilities by offering real work for real pay as 81% of adults with disabilities in the US are unemployed. In addition APL provides an extensive training program for individuals to gain landscaping skills prior to entering the jobsite called Awesome Training Program. APL ensures the work is top quality and provides the community with landscape services they will love and feel great about.
